Corsidian opens offices in Bogota, Colombia
   

Corsidian SA de CV, Mexico D.F. May 24, 2006. With great success and after more than five years providing services and technological solutions to the companies’ Contact Centers in more than 12 countries in Latin America, Corsidian opens its offices in Bogota, Colombia.

Corsidian has distinguished itself for implementing global strategies and solutions, tailoring each customer’s needs and operation so that, both technology as well as training and personnel management are directed to obtain the fastest return on investment.

Colombia is a country that has evolved surprisingly towards the technological change and has achieved an important patrimonial consolidation in this sector, which has registered revenues of up to 49 million dollars, under the operation of the Contact Centers.

According to the Chamber of Commerce, such amount of sales is a clear evidence of the relevance that this segment has attained for customers in this country. The sector’s consolidation was generated in 2002, when the Contact Center’s outsourcing had a 32% revenue increase, preventing net losses for 2,8 million dollars obtained in 2001, and obtaining profits of 538.000 dollars the subsequent year.

Only this year, the operational revenues of the companies dedicated to the Contact Center’s outsourcing business, or management of relationships with customers, as it is also known, grew a 38% in 2001, totalizing $ 49 million dollars.

In 2005, Colombia registered invoicing in the sector for $ 344.313 million Colombian pesos (approximately, 156 million dollars) with an increase of 26% in face of year 2004, generating nearly 22.848 direct jobs.
